Broker’s commission for rental contracts

If the rental property is arranged through a real estate agent, the agent’s commission (provvigione) is usually equal to one month’s rent or about 10% of the annual rent, payable both by the tenant (conduttore/locatario) and the landlord (locatore). The commission is due upon signing of the rental contract.
