Veterinarians and animal clinics

Veterinary practices or animal clinics can nowadays be found in almost all towns around Lake Garda. While animal clinics usually offer a 24-hour service, veterinary practices are often only open on certain days of the week and within relatively limited time frames. Pet owners should therefore make a note in advance of the opening hours and the emergency number of their chosen veterinarian to avoid being left without help in case of an emergency.

For all pet owners with tax liability in Italy: With the 2020 budget law, the maximum deductible amount for veterinary expenses was increased from €387.34 to €500. The non-deductible minimum amount of €129.11 remains unchanged.
